Vigo


This is the view from our hotel in Vigo, NW Spain, near the Portuguese border. We are here catching up with Silvia, a long time correspondent of mine, and her family. It is a lovely town and feels much more relaxed than Madrid.


Vigo is a fishing port and so I assume that the ...um...Merman above has some significance.

  1. He's the cad who got the mer/barmaid in the above pic pregnant (note the shape of his head... methinks there was a bowling ball in the woodpile... err... the shellpile!).
