St Jerome

In the background is the Monastery of S. Jeronimos (St Jerome) at Belem, near Lisbon.

In the foreground is a fountain with water, for those people in Melbourne who have forgotten what a running fountain looks like.

The monastery was lovely, cool and relaxing.

You can find more details about the monastery here.

This was the ceiling in the main chapel. More like a cathedral. Very tall, graceful pillars.
