Visited Hever Castle, the home of Anne Boleyn. Quite interesting. A traditional castle keep, wall and moat (circa 1300) filled in with a large Tudor house (circa 1500).
It was acquired in the early 1900 by William Waldorf Astor who put a lot of time and money into restoring it and building gardens and lakes around it. It houses a lot of his Italian sculture collection.

Wanting to be able to have guests around but not wanting to alter the lines of the castle with extensions, Astor built a replica Tudor village behind the castle as guest quarters.
