I was at a house tour recently and they had things like this set into mortor and used them as a wine bottle holder... it was very charming and interesting!
Why didn't you dust them off before doing so? On the other hand, the dust and cobwebs add character...not that I'm saying your posts don't have character, Lee...they do...in bucket loads! ;)
Oh I'm so glad you didn't dust them off! Just dropping in quickly to add links back to my blog, apparently I've been moved over to the new blogger, quite against my will, but it's certainly much easier to customize.
