A few folk I visit in Blogville have been writing about their surrounds, where they write.
So I picked up my camera, stood up and took a few totally impromptu photos of my study.
As it is, right now.
Maybe it will inspire me to keep it tidy in case I get the impulse to do it again.
...
A room after my own heart, Lee. Don't tidy it - pull it around you, feel comfortable and relax (with you sweet coffee!)
ReplyDeletea splendid clutter! Makes me feel right at home, lol!
ReplyDeleteYes, dont change a thing! It looks wonderful to me.
ReplyDeleteBesides, if you tidy it, you wont be able to find things!
You're not trying. I can see carpet.
ReplyDeletethe artwork interests me...
ReplyDeleteI daren not! My God! Why would I want to display my mess to the rest of the world!? I tidied everything up just the other day when my new laptopn was being installed...today...nothing looks different to what is was prior to that momentous cleaning-up day!
ReplyDeleteGreat, thanks Lee. Perhaps you should turn it into a blog "tag" theme?
ReplyDeleteOr, if there are any computer experts out there, someone might set up a shared space somewhere for us to post pics of our "studies" side by side if any of us wish to?
looks tidier than mine at the moment, though I've much less space. Does it make you look at it in a different way to have the camera "see" your space?
ReplyDeleteI did another 'closer' series, just of the desk. Quite an eclectic collection of flotsam on it. Shades of those fads of the 70's for people to empty their pockets or handbag onto a photocopier and copy the ensemble.
ReplyDeleteSo bizarre, just a couple of days back I thought "I wonder how other blogger's blogging spot looks like?" and was thinking of blogging a pic of my computer and ask others to do the same and look at you. The psychologist read my mind!!
ReplyDeleteBut .. I love the look, we have to many books too in our house. So what's those shoes doing NOT in the bedroom closet? LOL
I love the colour of the walls.
You know, I like these photos.. I can imagine you sitting there..and the so-called 'clutters' make me feel so close to you. Yours are not as bad as mine..
ReplyDeleteI love seeing pictures of where other people work and live and create. The more honest and unfussed with the better. Our computer desk is always a mess of school papers, bills, things pile up there, seeking a home. So it's always a mess, until I come straighten the piles up and then everything is orderly again, for a day or so. Or an afternoon. I think that's one of the reasons I love the shed so much, it's all my own and any messes or arrangements stay just the way I made them. This is not to say it's neat and tidy all the time, though sometimes it is.
ReplyDeletelove your fabby cozy nook - maybe i'll get brave and pop up some pics - nice color walls - i think i feel inspired to decorate! thanks for sharing your home!
ReplyDeleteHi Lee, I did this recently, with NO pictures. haha.....I posted a "bit" about my computer space. Many people responded that they also had a cluttered area around their computer, so now I feel quite at home. It is nice to know we are not alone.
ReplyDeleteLooks good to me. I'm inspired to post my clutter zone - so I will
