Wow!

I think they were trying to rustle up a scare campaign about Teflon but there are worse chemicals in your frying pan if you are worried about your cholesterol level.

  6. When I was a kid in Lancashire the Fish and Chip shops deep fried in lard. My auntie had a friend who owned a "Chippy".
    The frying vats were solid white in the early morning before the staff fired up the gas ranges. Delivery lorry drivers wheeled sack trucks full of blocks of fresh lard to the store room every few weeks.

  8. I had to getting take out for lunch at a nearby restaurant because they would have small black scraps in there. It's either burnt bits or the pan flaking. Both are not desirable on a daily basis.
