Yesterday was the football grand final in Melbourne. As much as possible I tried to avoid it.
While I a a strong supporter of Darwinism and evolution, it is team sports that make me lament that we have not progressed far beyond the great apes.
Am I unusual?

ReplyDeleteI've been sitting on the fence for years trying to decide which of tribalism or religion is the greater block to human development. Still undecided (and I need to bring in greed as well, to be fair).
ReplyDeleteI abhor all team sport. And why, when some individual achieves some personal goal, in sport or whatever, do we need to mention his/her nationality? What possible relevance can that have?
