An international treaty banning cluster bombs was signed last week.
There was just a nasty little cluster of absentees: China, Russia, Israel and the U.S.
Hopefully, in time, international pressure will work on these countries.

Humanity: what a mixed bunch. Some use their minds to invent, manufacture, sell and deploy weapons of war. Others use their brains and skills to develop surgical techniques which help (as much as they can) the victims of the aforementioned parties.
ReplyDeleteFunny..if they are absent, the cluster bombs will still be around..because they have it all. And the treaty serves no purpose.
