Armistice Day, 2010

Armistice Day and the poppies are in flower.

Lest we forget.

  1. Glad to see that another blogger stops short to remember, Lee

  2. Nice post for Armistice Day Lee and the poppies are beautiful.

    xoxoxo ♡

  3. enjoy the day and the season of poppies! We are in the crisp cold weather of fall here at the moment. Its lovely but means that winter is just around the corner! eek!

  4. You can bet I support our military folks over here. I never say no to the poppies they offer, and give my donations knowing that all the money in the world will never compare to their sacrifices for our safety and freedoms. I thank them all, seriously.

  5. As usual a completely appropriate post with a slight twist: who remembers it was called Armistice Day? Or is it just us US folk who have forgotten.

I sure wish we were celebrating an armistice today. How about a world with no wars? Naw, I must be drunk!
