Its some new form of the word "BIG"....Maybe ?? :DEmbiggen: make it big! HhahahaLMAO!
HA! That made me laugh out loud! It's like when Ryan was little and she used to combine words or make up new ones... like 'ginormous'... as in, if you embiggen it, it will be ginormous! ;)
I like it! better than emlittle.
sounds so funny!
I've seen that a lot online...damn, I can't think of anything to say that's clean....
CLEARLY it's the opposite of "ensmallen", Lee, with an "en" not an "em".RDL, EVERYone knows there's no such word as "emlittle".
I prefer maximification.
Clearly the product of a mind that has been emshrunkened.
maybe the author finds the word 'enlarge' offensive.
I'm with Ryan (Diane's kid) on this one.Like 'THOTHER' (one of my favorites)As in,Thother day the Sun was shining so brightly.
'Embiggen' has been around a while as a joke word, now it seems to have attained some kind of validity, so it goes. The bilingual kids here come up with some good fusion words, a friend's daughter described how a game she was playing had 'evoluated'.
I thought embiggen was just a joke word for use on blogs!
I thought the very same a few days ago when I saw the sentence: Click to embiggen the photos. And I always thought you should say: enlarge!
