How do you say "I told you so" in German?

Several years ago, I wrote that sprouts were the most dangerous food in the world.

You can read the original post here.

With reports out of Germany pointing the finger at bean sprouts as being the source of the current E.coli out break, and associated deaths, it seems I may have been right.

  1. I wash all of my vegetables in water before making a salad or cooking but now I am wondering whether that is enough ... I don't eat alfalfa or bean sprouts raw I cook them in a stir fry.
I am pleased that they have finally found the source of the E.coli outbreak.

  6. Where did you go, Lee? I have not been able to raise your blog for some weeks and here you are again! Also, what's happened to "The Curate after Dark" link?

  7. I haven't eaten them for years - even my Chinese mother tails bean sprouts and then always cooks them. Alfalfa sprouts and the mixed versions at supermarkets have been off our menu for a very long time, for exactly the reasons you say.

It is lovely to have you back! :)
