In train entertainment


This guy did some sort of story telling show on the train back from Machu Pichu. I couldn't understand the story but it was colourful to watch.

(Guess who is enjoying having a new camera with good telephoto abilities. Had you noticed an increase in 'character' shots?)

This rock is at Machu Pichu but is not an Inca stonemason's work. Modern day scientists tried to see if wooden wedges would split the rocks but failed. Largely because the mountain is too wet and all the wood is already swollen so wont expand.

Machu Pichu is everything you have been told it is. We were there this morning (5:30am bus!) and we were in the clouds for some time before they started to lift.
